Wing Chun is a Southern Chinese Kung Fu style, made famous by Ip Man and Bruce Lee. Ip Man (Yip Man), mentor and teacher to Bruce Lee, brought Wing Chun (also known as Ving Tsun or Wing Tsun) from Foshan, China to Hong Kong.
Without Ip Man (and later Wong Shun Leung), Wing Chun would not have had such a huge influence on Bruce Lee - and without the art of Wing Chun (which later influenced Bruce Lee's philosophy of Jeet Kune Do), Chinese Martial Arts and Kung Fu culture would not have spread far and wide across the world.
