詠春 Wing Chun Kung Fu Collection

A collection of designs paying homage and respect to 詠春 Wing Chun, the Southern Cantonese Kung Fu style originating from Foshan, Guangdong, China. Wing Chun / Ving Tsun / Wing Tsun Kung Fu is a close-quarters martial art that focuses on speed, forward pressure, and efficient strikes.

Legends say Wing Chun was invented by a female Shaolin Monk, Ng Mui, who taught it to a woman named Wing Chun. Eventually, it was passed onto Grandmaster 葉問 Ip Man / Yip Man, which was then made famous worldwide by his most famous disciple, the legendary 李小龍 Bruce Lee, who evolved the Kung Fu style to become 截拳道 Jeet Kune Do (The Way of the Intercepting Fist) - the philosophical basis for Mixed Martial Arts.
